Upgrading a true classic, Star of Bombay entwines with champagne, with an unexpected Eastern finish, courtesy of star anise. The Festive 75 shows off its complexity and versatility with rich fragrant citrus and deep spicy notes, lifted through the bubbles. Raise a glass at your next big celebration.

Ingredients

  • 25 ml Star of Bombay
  • 15 ml Sugar syrup (2:1 ratio sugar:water)
  • 15 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 50 ml Sparking wine or Champagne
  • Star anise to garnish

Method

  1. Take flute glass from freezer
  2. Shake all ingredients (apart from Champagne)
  3. Add chilled champagne to flute
  4. Pour shaker contents into flute on top of Champagne
  5. Garnish with a single star anise
