Pear & Ginger Twist

A sensational gin cocktail, in more ways than one. There’s the sweet citrus notes from the pear juice, warming aromatic ginger garnish, all served invitingly ice cold. The final touch? Listen for the effervescent tonic fizz, topped off with ginger slice and a sage leaf garnish. Try to resist!

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Bombay Sapphire
  • 30 ml Pear juice
  • 2 Fresh lime wedges
  • 50 ml Premium tonic water
  • 1 Sliver of ginger
  • 1 Sage leaf

Method

  1. Fill balloon glass to rim with good ice
  2. Stir until frosted then strain excess liquid from glass
  3. Add Bombay Sapphire, pear juice and a squeeze of fresh lime
  4. Add new lime wedge garnish under the ice
  5. Stir drink to acclimate contents
  6. Tilt glass and pour chilled tonic water down side of glass and lift once gently using bar spoon
  7. Garnish with sliver of ginger and sage leaf
