Warm Cocktail - Spiced Apple Tea Recipe

Here’s a treat. An intriguing spiced gin cocktail to warm you up, all winter long. Impress yourself, and your guests, as you perform wonders with seasonal spices, fruit slices and warm sweet flavours. Be sure to point out the soft citrus apple notes that bring complex exotic spices into play through the fresh, refined flavours of Bombay Sapphire.


  • 100 ml Bombay Sapphire
  • 40 ml MARTINI® Bianco
  • 225 ml water
  • 4 ½ tsp honey
  • 3 Whole thin apple slices
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Cardamom pods (broken)
  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 1 Black tea bag
  • 50 ml Unfiltered/cloudy apple juice
  • 20 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • Orange zest
  • Freshly grated nutmeg


  1. Add water, honey, apple juice and apple slices to a pot
  2. Add spices (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, vanilla pod)
  3. Bring to the boil, switch off, and add tea bag
  4. Wait three minutes, then remove tea bag, spices and apple slices (retain for garnish)
  5. Add Bombay Sapphire, Martini® Bianco and fresh lemon juice
  6. Stir and turn heat on for 25 seconds
  7. Strain into two tea cups
  8. Garnish with orange zest, spent apple slices and a sprinkle of fresh grated nutmeg
