Melbourne is a city that can be defined by its diversity. It is an incredible microcosm of different cultures, backgrounds, and identities, with all the variation and complexity of a city like London in less than half the population and less than 2/3 the space.
The other big variation you`ll find in Melbourne is in it`s natural beauty, especially the sky. The Swedish adage "no wrong weather, only wrong clothes" absolutely does not hold up, as temperatures fluctuate and rain comes and passes in a matter of minutes rather than days. Having lived through a rather dreary winter in Melbourne, the diversity was a welcome change to the persistent dreary grey skies I`m used to back home.
Pictured is Little Bourke Street; nestled in Melbourne`s CBD, a vibrant thread of colour, fragrance and excitement woven into the fabric of the city. The Citrus Sky had just revealed itself after hours of drizzle, and it`s a moment I`m happy to have captured. With that inspiration, I`ve taken diverse ingredients inspired by the people I`ve met in Melbourne, in order to celebrate the diversity of nature we`re lucky to experience.
