Get directions

By Train

The closest train stations to the distillery are Overton or Whitchurch which are serviced by trains originating from London Waterloo and Salisbury.

If you need to get a taxi from either station to the distillery, we recommend booking in advance as due to the rural locations of the nearby stations, there are no taxi ranks or taxis waiting.

From Overton station the distillery is a 2.5-mile walk along London Road in the direction of Whitchurch.

(Please be aware that we stopped running our shuttle bus towards the end of last year due to the uncertainty presented by COVID together with our closure from November 2020. Having reopened on 17th May 2021, we plan to review our need for an alternative service and will keep guests advised via our website and social channels.)

By Taxi

If you need to get a taxi from either Overton, Whitchurch or Micheldever station to the distillery, we recommend booking in advance as due to the rural locations of the nearby stations, there are no taxi ranks or taxis waiting. We also recommend contacting a company for a quote when planning your journey.

If you need to get a taxi from the distillery once your experience has finished, we would also recommend booking in advance due our rural location. Laverstoke Mill is situated between Overton and Whitchurch on the B3400 (London Road) in Laverstoke. If your Sat Nav does not recognise the postcode RG28 7NR, then use RG28 7PH and please park in the main distillery car park next to the entrance. Rather than a Bombay Sapphire cocktail as the complimentary drink at the end of the tour, drivers can enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic cocktail and then collect a gift pack from the Gin Shop. Please plan your trip in advance and enjoy Bombay Sapphire Gin responsibly.

By Bus

The 76 bus from Basingstoke or Andover stops right outside the distillery.

Part of the B3400 London Road will be closed at the beginning of August due to resurfacing works, if you are visiting us in early August, please check and plan your route as this could affect your journey. There will be a diversion in place which could add around 30 minutes to travel times. Please note there are some minor building works currently taking place at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, but rest assured your experience will not be impacted by these.
