There are many different ways of making cocktails: stirring, blending, building, throwing, layering and of course the most famous – shaking! Traditionally you may well shake a cocktail with ice and then strain it over fresh cubed ice, therefore throwing away the first lot of ice. In Helen’s drink, I decided to give the ice machine at work a break and use half the amount of ice. This is achieved by using the shaken ice in the final drink. As an ecological output, it means that over time the ice machine is using less water, less electricity and requires less regular service intervals too!

When ordering a Martini cocktail you usually get asked if you’d like it ‘shaken’ or ‘stirred’. But why not have both? With our ‘Shaken & Starred’, we shake our Star of Bombay along with quality cubed ice & Bergamot Liqueur then stir in the MARTINI Rosato Vermouth afterwards to create the perfect dilution for the cocktail.

Star of Bombay combines with citrusy pink grapefruit juice, Bottlegreen Plump Raspberry Cordial & a pinch of spicy pink peppercorns, then lengthened slightly with MARTINI Prosecco to create a complex & well-balanced celebratory cocktail.

Like our iconic blue glass bottles, this cocktail stands out for all the right reasons. Bombay Sapphire is perfectly balanced with lemon juice, MARTINI Bianco, Creme de Cacao Blanc (chocolate liqueur), and Blue Curacao (orange liqueur), creating a chocolate-orange sensation.

Pomade

Nothing to do with the hair product, but enticing nonetheless! ‘Pomade’ is a delicious combination of sweet, fruity pomegranate juice and Fever-Tree lemonade, mixed with Bombay Sapphire and sharp redcurrants creating a tantalising balance of flavours.

Cloud Nine

A longer, more uplifting expression of the classic Dry Martini, the Cloud Nine incorporates Bombay Sapphire, MARTINI Extra Dry, Orgeat (almond) syrup and cloudy apple juice. It’s then awoken with a spritz of MARTINI Prosecco.

Using our famous Copa de Balon glass, this warmly spiced G&T twist perfectly incorporates homemade chai tea syrup and citrusy lime wedges, which are then lengthened with Franklin & Sons Indian tonic water to draw out the spices.

A loose adaptation of a refreshing Tom Collins- squeezed lime wedges are combined with Bottlegreen spiced berry cordial and Bombay Sapphire, then topped with effervescent Fever-Tree soda water to create a long, intriguing, seasonal cocktail.

How would you like to book?

While production of Bombay Sapphire gin continues as normal, we are sorry to announce that until Sunday 19th July 2020 inclusive, the Bombay Sapphire Visitor Centre will be cancelling all tours and events as well as closing our shop, bar and café due to the evolving coronavirus/COVID-19 situation. All tickets purchased for visits up to and including 19th July 2020 will be refunded back to the original purchase method or rebooked. We are constantly evaluating the situation and in contact with local officials, and we will update you when tours resume. Any extension to this closure date will be communicated with at least one week’s notice. The safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority, and we thank you for your patience.
